If it doesn't get fixed soon, I'll have to uninstall and find something else!I read for newer phones you have to turn on accessibility option to access app settings/ assistant menu (?) ..holding on-screen back arrow simulates older OS menu button settings access.. if Binarytoys ever updates, pls add a gear icon (?) for on-screen direct settings access, thanksUsed to be one of the best.

2. Compass doesn't work for Android 9 Motorola Moto g7 but everything else does.Not updated since 2010, functionality on newer phones is broken.Works great! Used it for a 10 years now.

3. Overall great App! However, I can't access the setting anymore to input LOC, change color, or anything.

4. I have a NOTE 8 Samsung and have used this app for multiple devices and for years for different occasions; LAND NAV, Hunting and Hiking.

5. But awhile back it stopped giving directions as you were driving and when stopped showed your location in real time.

1. Fix Ulysse Gizmos Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ulysse Gizmos: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ulysse Gizmos App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ulysse Gizmos" » Open Ulysse Gizmos » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ulysse Gizmos » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ulysse Gizmos app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ulysse Gizmos servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ulysse Gizmos" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ulysse Gizmos app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ulysse Gizmos might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ulysse Gizmos. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ulysse Gizmos then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ulysse Gizmos not working

2. Fix Ulysse Gizmos Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ulysse Gizmos be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ulysse Gizmos not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ulysse Gizmos may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
