AutoStart Customer Insights

1. The only downside is it is much slower than other apps to open apps, can take up to a minute to open them up.Worked great until Android Pie... at first it didn't work, but now it does again... I just have to lock open the apps that it opens, as the keep-open lock wont apply to apps it launches until you manually assign that setting yourself at startup.

2. Thanks people! Galaxy S7 Android 8.0.0Does exactly what you expect it to do - auto starts any app when you restart your phone (and unlike other apps of this type it will close your started app to the home screen on boot).

3. And it's the kind of app I like it's simple, to the point. While it works as a charm on pure Android, I tried to use it on Android TV and although it runs apps on boot I am missing so much the feature of autostart the app if stopped later (any workaround?).

4. AutoStart - No root does take about 5 mins from the power on key to execution, but like Chris R., I need it to start Nissan Connect so that my vehicle can interface with my phone's internet connection.

5. 1 minute 30 seconds to kick in.My car's infotainment system requires an accompanying app to be running on my phone in order to access all of the MMI features so I was looking for a simple way to start an app whenever my phone was restarted.

6. Now I have Android 8.1 Oreo so I don't know if it works differently on the newer Android or what but the first app I used with it started up perfectly return me to the home screen.

7. Does exactly what it should and allows multiple apps to start automatically when the device is turned on.

8. Works great so far!Choose this app as my previous "auto boot" app, after updating, was suspected to have adware that hijacked my browser.

9. I've searched EVERYWHERE for an app that would auto start apps on a reboot.

10. You can choose to have it notify you when it runs (a notification icon that's silent) but the feature for "return to the home screen" hasn't worked for me yet.

11. when you launch it, that setting does not apply to the app at startup, so it easily gets closed unless you fix that.Very good! Functions like "back to home" are welcome and they're indispensable.
