It's possible that I've missed a setting, but one thing that would mitigate risk would be to give users visibility to and the option to postpone trail updates so that data would not be corrupted at the wrong timeOverall invaluable to Hikers! World like maps to auto load when you searching between sections of the map.

2. Would be nice to have the option to zoom out on everything with a pinch, not just one axis.I've found this app to be incredibly useful while on trail and also while setting at the house planning your next section.

I also bought some of the regional map bundles and they are super helpful for trip planning, but the custom route option is a bit finicky, so I'd like to see that ironed out a bit so I can get rid of AllTrails.I am not one to typically write reviews unless I am particularly impressed or disappointed.

4. Waypoint photos allow you to get a glimpse of shelters, campgrounds, parking areas, and more! The user comments are extremely helpful for real-time updates on wildlife activity, water availability, closures, etc.

9. This app has an overall intuitive design, the maps are reasonably priced, each map is highly customizable, and most importantly: customer service is unmatched in quality and timeliness.

1. Fix FarOut Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FarOut: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FarOut App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FarOut" » Open FarOut » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FarOut » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FarOut app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FarOut servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FarOut" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FarOut app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FarOut might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FarOut. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FarOut then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FarOut not working

2. Fix FarOut Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FarOut be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FarOut not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FarOut may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
