Mondly Customer Insights

1. I would definitely recommend it over any other language learning app.Mondly teaches individual words and phrases but fails to teach the specific grammar rules.

2. Very often there's only one possible way to arrange the English words to make a grammatically correct complete sentence so I end up playing a word game instead of learning Thai.

3. You can do short daily lessons lasting a minute or spend all day learning something more specific in travel, business, etc.This is a great app that actually fosters true fluency in the users.

4. I also would love more focus on alphabets amd characters for languages that have them; my Thai progress is mostly rote memorization of phrases.

5. Thought it was me, but did a side by side with my other phone that has another language teaching app.

6. The only downside I noticed is the Spanish language uses Castillian Spanish vs Latin American Spanish.

7. The ads are not invasive at all.Most people probably use Mondly because it has Thai and Duolingo does not.

8. It's an intro to the language at best.I wanted to refresh my knowledge of Latin after taking it for 2 years in college.

9. I am switching from Duolingo, and there doesn't seem to be a way to test into appropriately challenging lessons.

10. But they seem to use the same lessons as other languages, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

11. I love that it has three different levels for users (beginning, mid and advanced) and a variety of practices and feedbacks.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Mondly Issues

1. Fix Mondly Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Mondly: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Mondly App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mondly" » Open Mondly: Learn 33 Languages » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mondly » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Mondly: Learn 33 Languages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mondly servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mondly: Learn 33 Languages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Mondly app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mondly might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Mondly. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mondly then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mondly not working


2. Fix Mondly Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mondly be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mondly not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mondly may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I try to reach out you bazillionth time. I never reach out. Anyway, i want to cancel my subscription that i have Learn 33 languages. Plz you do it. I dont use it any more. I found the other way learning the language as i want.

  • I canceled my Mondly subscription in APRIL and I have been being billed 9.99 every single month since April. Refund my money from April, May, June, July, August, September, and October or I will seek legal action against your company.
