1. I never have issues logging in like the others.It's been at least 6 months now that I haven't been able to use the mobile deposit (ever since I upgraded to a Pixel 6 Pro) because the camera to take photos of the checks closes half a second after opening, every, single, time.
2. More concerning is that the Instant Balance screen doesn't *close* when you switch to something else like the home screen - come back a day later, switch to the AB app, and it's still up with that information.
3. I held my phone camera directly above the check, which didn't work.
4. I had to use another device to take a picture of the screen to have time you read the error message.
5. Depositing checks via mobile is the only reason I don't abandon my AB account for another bank, and this app makes it nearly impossible to do that.
6. Update: doesn't crash anymore, but depositing a check doesn't work.
7. Had to uninstall and reinstall with that turned off to get the app to run.Still minor problem taking pix of check to deposit.
8. When it does manage to actually load to the login screen it takes far too long.
9. Now it sits on "Syncing," whether on mobile or local Wifi, for quite some time - it's noticably slower.
10. In the past, I held my phone directly above the check & level.
11. With the latest update the app shows an error message for about a second then the app closes.
