1. Not good!This app has been wonderful on my Samsung tablet for years but the most recent update keeps bringing up a black screen when I go to check orders or lists.

2. I do wish they had a better system in place for when you use the call back service for help, as I have used several times, or should I say ,tried to use, and every time, they seem to use like a robo call type of feature that wont actuallyThe previous version was far superior to the update.

3. My only critique is that I prefer shopping Amazon in the browser so that I can open multiple tabs for comparing items and not lose my place during a search.

10. Other than that, it is great.Over all I've always liked the Amazon app but with the lasted couple updates it has become hard to use.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Amazon Issues

1. Fix Amazon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Amazon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Amazon App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Amazon" » Open Amazon for Tablets » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Amazon » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Amazon for Tablets app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Amazon servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Amazon for Tablets" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Amazon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Amazon might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Amazon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Amazon then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Amazon not working


2. Fix Amazon Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Amazon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Amazon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Amazon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
