Altice Amplify Customer Insights
1. Wont- waste another second with this & WILL BE RETURNING SPEAKER&APP 👎Love the speaker, but I have never been able to connect to alexa.. I keep receiving an error that says this app has bugs and needs to be updated.. That is so frustrating! For the amount of money spent.
2. I could have went to Walmart and purchased a better speaker.Makes me want to throw my speaker! This app needs to be installed every time you want to connect to your speaker.
3. My speaker loses the connection and Alexa says cannot connect to the internet.
4. Edit: It doesn't even work nowOh my dear lord how is this app still on the market? The app just searches and searches for the speaker, even with my phone literally sitting on top of it.
5. The app takes longer to "look for speakers" than to actually get up and walk to the speaker and turn it up, down, or mute.
6. I have 1gbps internet so not sure why updating a smart speaker takes so long.
7. It shouldnt be this difficult 2 set up a speaker ive got multiple speakers in my house All FULLY set up in 10 mins or less.
8. I have it working kinda right now, but only as a directly connected speaker hooked to my PC.
9. This is a very poor app and the Amplify Altice speaker is only ok.
10. The speaker sounds ok when it works, which isn't very often.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Altice Amplify Issues
1. Fix Altice Amplify Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Altice Amplify: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Altice Amplify App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Altice Amplify" » Open Altice Amplify » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Altice Amplify » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Altice Amplify app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Altice Amplify servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Altice Amplify" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Altice Amplify app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Altice Amplify might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Altice Amplify. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Altice Amplify then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Altice Amplify not working
2. Fix Altice Amplify Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Altice Amplify be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Altice Amplify not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Altice Amplify may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I got some altice amplify speakers at a pawn shop, but wasn’t able to connect them. I went to an altice facility near me but they told me the person who owned them before, stopped paying for a subscription of some sort to own them, but they said they couldn’t do anything except take them back. I want to know if there’s a way to make them work even with a subscription just so I get my moneys worth because they’ve been sitting in my garage for over a year now. My Altice amplifier has no sound. It stopped working suddenly. I restored factory settings but it still doesn't work. Tried Bluetooth and Bluetooth also doesn't work.

My Altice amplify does not have sound. It stopped working all of a sudden. I did a factory reset but it is still not working. Tried Bluetooth too and the Bluetooth is also not working. I just bought this speaker just last 2 months.

I also have a problem with altice devialet. After logging in and updating the software, the speaker reported me an account problem, but I don't have one. From now on, my speaker doesn't play at all. I do not know what to do

I had suddenlink recently and dropped them. I still have the altice amplify and it is still locked by suddenlink. Now I can not play music or use the amplify. Is there a way to lift that 3rd party software?

My altice amplify speakerJust all the sudden stopped working. It was working fine for a few months. Then I could not hook it back up to the Internet and it said. Problem with. Service. Contact customer care. But I've never had a contract with Altys. Or suddenlink? Or anyone. I just use the speaker as a standalone speaker, but now I cannot get it to connect to Wi-Fi or nothing. Please help me.
