1. I'm really tired of this problem! About ready to move back to Direct tv! Well it is several weeks later and it doesn't work at all! I did Uninstall it and reinstalled and now when you want to watch something it just has that little circle going around and around and then it disappears and the show does not play.

2. Now trying to reach a human on the phone is VERY FRUSTRATING! I have only had the service for 2 months, and have had 2 remote controls (still doesnt work) and cannot go thru a week without having to reboot my box.

4. The guide always starting on channel 2 can be annoying as is the fact that the guide doesn't have the times marked out.It does not allow me to see my account or pay my bill.

1. Fix Optimum TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Optimum TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Optimum TV App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Optimum TV" » Open Optimum TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Optimum TV » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Optimum TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Optimum TV servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Optimum TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Optimum TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Optimum TV might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Optimum TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Optimum TV then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Optimum TV not working

2. Fix Optimum TV Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Optimum TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Optimum TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Optimum TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
