1. I'll just continue to use the regular app to get a virtual card to split the bigger purchases.I've tried making several purchases that are with businesses and for items that aren't on their 'can't be split in 4' list and over $100 but have never been able to split AND you don't find out if you can split until after the purchase is made.

2. I thought this would be a card I could swipe and be allowed to split purchases like we do through the regular app when you're given 3 options of monthly payments.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Affirm Debit+ Issues

1. Fix Affirm Debit+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Affirm Debit+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Affirm Debit+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Affirm Debit+" » Open Affirm Debit+ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Affirm Debit+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Affirm Debit+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Affirm Debit+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Affirm Debit+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Affirm Debit+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Affirm Debit+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Affirm Debit+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Affirm Debit+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Affirm Debit+ not working


2. Fix Affirm Debit+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Affirm Debit+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Affirm Debit+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Affirm Debit+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
