Deposit2GO Customer Insights

1. When you get to the check deposit screen it appears to use a completely different web based platform which didn't map correctly to my screen, the submit buttons were covered by the zoom button.Generally works well, but seems silly to have a separate app just for deposits.

2. Please move the zoom in and out feature from the location of the login button when we try to deposit our checks.

3. I installed Deposit 2 Go, clicked deposit, and it took me to the camera screen to take front and back pictures of my check.

4. I couldn't do a remote deposit because this feature got in the way of me being able to hit login to my specific account.

5. Why fix something that's not broken? QC issues clearly but still annoying.Have used this for years to deposit checks, no longer working.

6. I clicked on "deposit" in the GTE app, and got a pop-up saying I had to install the "GTE Deposit 2 Go" app in order to make deposits.

7. I only downloaded this because the new application removed the ability to deposit checks.

8. Had to drive clear across town to deposit check.

9. Won't let me switch accounts to deposit.

10. Not sure what changed but it is broke.Just downloaded the app .The app says I'm off line which I'm not and there is not even a screen for new users to register.

11. The history feature doesn't seem to work unless there is a time limit on the history, but not a big deal.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Deposit2GO Issues

1. Fix Deposit2GO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Deposit2GO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Deposit2GO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Deposit2GO" » Open Deposit2GO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Deposit2GO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Deposit2GO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Deposit2GO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Deposit2GO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Deposit2GO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Deposit2GO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Deposit2GO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Deposit2GO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Deposit2GO not working


2. Fix Deposit2GO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Deposit2GO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Deposit2GO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Deposit2GO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
