ScanLife PowerShopper Customer Insights

1. Now just keeps loading and doesnt scan the codes.You have to fiddle with it for it to work and it doesnt recognise things unless theyre dead center except theres no help to make sure it is in that spot.Literally never found an item.

2. I tested the app with my friend who has the tracker enabled and it found the product while the same product did not yield any results for me who has the location tracker disabled.worked great when first installed over a year ago.

3. But now it couldn't find a barcode, any product, and totally fails on QR Codes.this app doesnt recognize anything that I scanned.

4. I tested this on multiple items, a can of diet Pepsi, a tent, a box of hot pockets, and a box of granola bars and all I got was a product not found message.

5. I scanned over 100 items, including household, name brand, common items that are found everywhere.

6. Note9 userIt will not work unless you allow the app to track your location which under certain circumstances the app reserves the right to share with third parties.

7. I went through 10 of my top shopped for items and it always said "item not found".

8. I tested it immediately and it couldn't find nothing i scanned.

9. You can look stuff up manually, but I have a 1 star review because the main feature to this app, the barcode, was not functioning at the time of this review.

  1. Restart ScanLife PowerShopper: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ScanLife PowerShopper App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ScanLife PowerShopper" » Open ScanLife PowerShopper » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ScanLife PowerShopper » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ScanLife PowerShopper app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ScanLife PowerShopper servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ScanLife PowerShopper" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ScanLife PowerShopper app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ScanLife PowerShopper might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ScanLife PowerShopper. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ScanLife PowerShopper then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ScanLife PowerShopper not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ScanLife PowerShopper be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
