MotoSleep Customer Insights

1. However when I downloaded app and tried to pair for the first time it paired with SOMEONE else's bed! it picked up a neighbors bed! I know because it was giving me controls for features my model doesn't have! I tried to refresh the pairing and nothing worked.It worked at first but doesn't connect now via BT to bed.

2. The included remotes work fine and the bases sync fine, on the app only one side works at a time.

3. The app seems to work for controlling the bed, but I do not usually enable location services on my phone and won't change that just for this app.Man this app sucks.

4. A+Requires location services to be enabled in order to control the bed - not just for initial discovery, but in order to control it after the bed was discovered.

5. Motion sensor night light setting doesn't work.

6. If you adjust the bed, lay the phone down, and then go back in layer to put the bed in a different positron, the beds are gone again forcing another restart.

7. It worked with no problems!Its better than the remote because you can change the colors and the duration of the lights.

8. Will probably return the whole base since it doesn't function as advertised.

9. My Galaxy S7 doesn't see its signal and location is set to high accuracy.

10. It worked last night, but tonight it won't list my beds at all 😡😤Horrible app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MotoSleep Issues

1. Fix MotoSleep Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MotoSleep: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MotoSleep App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MotoSleep" » Open MotoSleep » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MotoSleep » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MotoSleep app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MotoSleep servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MotoSleep" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MotoSleep app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MotoSleep might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MotoSleep. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MotoSleep then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MotoSleep not working


2. Fix MotoSleep Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MotoSleep be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MotoSleep not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MotoSleep may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
