StudentVUE Customer Insights

1. The app has several problems: loading problems to the point you need to log out then log back in in order to access it, so-called connection problems even though im in an area that has good wifi, and plus, the app logged me out and when i try to log myself in, it says my password and email is wrong when i double checked everything and it was ok! This is ridiculous.

2. I don't really need it for anything other than checking my grades, but it's definitely a bit irritating that something this important is being given literally 0 thought.It was working but it all of a sudden stopped and it showed error messages for a few weeks.

3. The problem with this is that it really needs constant upgrades and more bug fixes.App worked slow, but did work, up until a couple weeks ago in which it fully stopped opening.

4. The app is already super glitchy on android, doesn't give you any clear indication of what is going wrong, and often crashes randomly.

5. Needs major changes aswell, the cource view may be the least user-friendly UI ever made, and it's beyond usless for keeping up with missing and ungraded assignments.

6. I can find the submission box, but everytime I tap the "Select File To Turn in" button, it does not work.

7. After I type my student ID and password, I click login and the app crashes and closes immediately.

8. This has caused me to accidentally send my teachers 5 emails at a time without knowing.

9. I'd say a solid 50% of the time I am unable to access my grades.

10. I will gladly change to 5 stars when this issue is solved.It worked good until a week ago, when it suddenly kicked me out.

11. Prone to random crashes in the middle of writing an important message.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix StudentVUE Issues

1. Fix StudentVUE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart StudentVUE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the StudentVUE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StudentVUE" » Open StudentVUE » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StudentVUE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear StudentVUE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StudentVUE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StudentVUE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check StudentVUE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StudentVUE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall StudentVUE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StudentVUE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StudentVUE not working


2. Fix StudentVUE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StudentVUE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StudentVUE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StudentVUE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
