Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Codes Issues
1. Fix Codes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Codes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Codes App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Codes" » Open Codes for universal controls (Smart control) » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Codes » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Codes for universal controls (Smart control) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Codes servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Codes for universal controls (Smart control)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Codes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Codes might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Codes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Codes then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Codes not working
