Giftloop Customer Insights

1. The surveys paid out their points, the charge screen part of the app worked well and the pictures that showed that allowed collecting coins for acknowledging you saw them worked, too.

2. All in all, nice place to earn a couple extra dollars! Update: I have noticed that Giftloop has been a little more proactive about eliminating the uncooperative offers that sometimes sneak onto the offerwalls.

3. I have to open it, unplug my phone, plug it back in, and then lock it to get it to work while I charge my phone when I sleep at night.

4. There's also a bug where I can't have it on the charge screen unless I leave the app up, lock my phone and then unlock it so giftloop will load the charge screen.

5. When the charge screen stopped working as well as the pictures, I thought it was the age of my tablet.

6. In the morning after I "close" it doesn't work any other time I'm charging my phone if I don't repeat this process.

7. You can choose what you want to do to earn more, but you do not feel pressured to complete surveys.The only thing I feel could use some work is the gift prices.

8. It would contantly crash, the charging screen never worked, and the 5 point cat photos stopped working.

9. This amount of coins is larger which I could useI love Giftloop!!!! It's quick and easy to use.

10. You get coins just by charging and putting your phone on lockscreen mode.

11. Now I can't log into my account and I was unable to collect my coins after it had been changing all night.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Giftloop Issues

1. Fix Giftloop Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Giftloop: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Giftloop App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Giftloop" » Open Giftloop - Play & Win Rewards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Giftloop » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Giftloop - Play & Win Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Giftloop servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Giftloop - Play & Win Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Giftloop app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Giftloop might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Giftloop. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Giftloop then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Giftloop not working


2. Fix Giftloop Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Giftloop be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Giftloop not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Giftloop may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Giftloop has said 'NO NETWORK' available for days. I have tried everything I know and all advice I can find. Help! I have been playing this app for years. I have lots of coins built up that I trade for gifts at Christmas. Have I just wasted all I have done?

  • I have been trying to get ahold of Giftloop for a long time but nobody will get back with me. My account has been under tami0567@gmail but for some reason my other email keeps coming up which is tami0567@redacted. I have been trying to use my points to redeem a gift card but every time I do this it keeps saying my email is wrong. So I put tami0567@redacted in the address bar and it says they are sending me a link to my email at tami0567@gmail to confirm. When I get the email it tells me to verify my email but when I try to push it it says the activation link has expired. I am so upset because I can keep getting points but I can’t verify my email because it won’t let me. I just want to be able to use my points. Please help. I am Tami Primmer. Hopefully someone will get back with me.

  • I've submitted two redemptions in the past couple of weeks. I've gotten no confirmation for either. The first was summited June 13 and still have not received gift card. The second is more recent and it has not been 5-7 business days.
