1. Not really sure how long its supposed to take? Still highly unsatisfied that we've been forced out of one wallet that worked great and into the "new" one that doesn't allow me to do anything.Very user friendly application, self explanatory even for novices.

2. What a complete waist of time out of my life.The developers didnt notify their users that airbitz was going away and a new wallet needed.

3. Edge devs, are you aware that plummeting UX is not a solution to a UI that could be improved upon? Incorrect amounts being sent, issues sending period... I've had edge for a long time now, but it's time to uninstall.

4. This app has been great to use, except for one issue with my BSV wallet.

5. I was when I started using it & needed "cold storage" for my coins with a new paper wallet that I needed to transfer from.

6. The exchange was successful, but the BSV never showed up in my wallet, and I'm pretty sure it's because I can't complete the sync.

7. Goodbye EdgeMobile, open source, multi-currency wallet with built-in exchange, and it works well.

8. Support suggested waiting until the wallet had loaded - 20 minutes later now and the green bar has yet to move.

9. * edit * Apparently I missed the email they sent out 8 months ago, and never did see a popup in my other wallet.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Edge Issues

1. Fix Edge Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Edge: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Edge App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Edge" » Open Edge - Bitcoin & Crypto Wallet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Edge » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Edge - Bitcoin & Crypto Wallet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Edge servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Edge - Bitcoin & Crypto Wallet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Edge app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Edge might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Edge. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Edge then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Edge not working


2. Fix Edge Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Edge be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Edge not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Edge may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
