Why should I report an Issue with CellMapper?

1. This leaves little for me to contribute, which is just as well as the app is a major battery hog when it's recording! When running in 5G mode, the phone seems to supply the app with a lot of missing/unknown data, though, but I think this is probably more an issue with Android than the app itself.

Edit:12/6/18 found out how to kill it, there is a drop down menu in the notifications bar, one option is exit, this makes my experience much better!since new update lots issues,api limit,and mapping resolution as changed🤯Cellmapper is a great service for determining roughly where there will be decent 4G signal.

3. Also the tower selection UI needs improvement; it may show an old tower that hasn't been seen in over a year on top of a newer one and there's no easy way to select overlapped towers except excessive tapping until they're selected.Seemed OK at first.

4. Its also interesting looking on the map on the app to see which mast you're directly connected to (and its location relative to your own position)! A few other reviews mention not being able to see uploaded data- it would be worth checking whether you're looking at the right network.

1. Fix CellMapper Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart CellMapper: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the CellMapper App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CellMapper" » Open CellMapper » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CellMapper » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear CellMapper app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CellMapper servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CellMapper" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check CellMapper app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CellMapper might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall CellMapper. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CellMapper then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CellMapper not working

2. Fix CellMapper Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CellMapper be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CellMapper not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CellMapper may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
