1. Sadly, Capitec is LYING when they say the app can be used without data charges! I'm actually on the Capitec Connect network, but when my data is finished, I cannot access the app! Now they've finally added Capitec Connect features to the app, but it's still rotten with bugs - one example is my data balance shows 0mb, yet *101# tells me the correct balance.Been using the app as long as I can remember... I have been battling to activate the app on my phone the last time it is so frustrating.

2. Recurring payments should show their history or the last payment date - currently it doesn't show any history when it's being viewed.

3. I've tried dozens of times with different backgrounds and lighting, but still no change.1. Recurring payment didn't happen - it's scheduled to occur every month end, at the very least show an error if it tried and failed.

4. See transaction history in detail without requesting statementI have been using this app for a year, without problems.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Capitec Bank Issues

1. Fix Capitec Bank Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  5. Uninstall and reinstall Capitec Bank. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Capitec Bank then reinstall.
