iLightShow Customer Insights

1. Also adding a delay between ~+.3s to .6s seems to work best with syncing it for me, but this will fluctuate especially based on how you're playing the music (through your phone, bluetooth, etc).Good app to sync Hue to Spotify.

2. The delay is a nice feature to have to make sure everything stays in sync, but it is a little difficult to set up manually and I find that it often needs adjustments so it would be nice if they were easier 😊Trust me, I've tried all of the music syncing options out there and this is absolutely the best one.

3. I recommend this to anyone looking for a mobile version of the Hue Sync app.Really enjoy the app a lot! A really useful feature would be to be able to tap your screen in rhythm with the music in order to help calibrate the delay.

4. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because if the app is left on sync mode after done playing music, the lights can't be controlled by my home automation app.

5. On some occasions I forgot to turn off the sync mode, only to wake up the next morning with all the other lights in the house turned off through a bedtime scene, except the Hue lights controlled by the app.Best app for the Philips Hue i've used, and totally worth paying for the pro version.

6. All lights must be the same color, can't have each light be a different color).Probably the best solution to having your Hue lights sync to Spotify.

7. The app syncs with music directly through your spotify app which produces better light patterns than the ones that sync through the microphone.

8. As opposed to the other apps where it attempts to sync with the music through your phone's mic, this app is gathering data directly from Spotify.

9. Family and friends love the light show when playing music and it gives the room a nice vibe.

10. I would also suggest adding some form of on-screen metronome for setting up delay.I've been using the Hue Sync app for desktop and have really been enjoying it.

11. I also find that setting the delay to 0.3s works best with the music I listen to.It works for a minute maybe even 5 then stops.
