Wattpad Customer Insights
1. I don't want it playing in general unless I play it myself, but it's an annoying inconvenience to be finishing a chapter, and all of a sudden, music/audio starts playing, completely ruining the flow of how I was reading and the book in generalThe app is great, until you reach the unnecessary amount of ads, I was fine with one after reading 2 or 3 chapters, but it's just gotten crazy, ad at the bottom of the screen, in-between the chapters with out a video, once you were able to find other books to read in between them but now you just get ads.
2. Please fix it.I love reading different books on here and it's a really great app and when I first downloaded it I loved it! But ever since the ad bar showed up, I didn't press the ad thing but it just randomly put me in Amazon for dog toys😡! And just now it took me out of my account and I can't get back in😭! Edit:I just restarted my phone and got back in... Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
3. When I exit out of my story, the video or picture deletes, it's kinda annoying and if I try adding a video on the actual story part, you have to watch the video, you can't just play it and listen to it.
4. Edit: When I created a fanfic just now, it keeps on making errors and taking away my fanfic title and description.Hello! I wish to say that the reason why my review was low is because whenever I try writing the description of my story, it cuts off and its way before the 2000 limit.
5. Especially the ad that is placed at the bottom of the screen while reading a book, sometimes it has sound, has a moving picture, and is very bright.
6. What I hate is when I'm on the last page of a chapter and the next chapter has a video in the beginning, and that video starts playing before I even get to that page.
7. And let's not talk about the new update, I can't even view people pages from the comment section anymore.I love this app and have enjoyed it for More than 4 years but now the ads don't accommodate to dark mode readers.
8. Good app but seriously needs improvement, you'd think with constantly updating it'd get those improvements but they haven't.The only problem I have is that I can't add a picture and video in my stories.
9. Thank youI love this app! I read and write on it and it's even improved my English grade dramatically from seeing other writers and learning.
10. The other thing is that the writing feature that comes with the app doesn't work well on mobile.
11. When I tried to upload a chapter it said error with wifi but ever other app worked perfectly fine.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Wattpad Issues
1. Fix Wattpad Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Wattpad: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Wattpad App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Wattpad" » Open Wattpad - Read & Write Stories » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Wattpad » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Wattpad - Read & Write Stories app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Wattpad servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Wattpad - Read & Write Stories" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Wattpad app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Wattpad might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Wattpad. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Wattpad then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Wattpad not working
2. Fix Wattpad Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Wattpad be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Wattpad not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Wattpad may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, i have a story on Wattpad called Changed and i noticed that are some chapters are missing. I think that they got deleted by Wattpad itself. Most of them are in the wrong order and in some of them are just half of the text i wrote. The last time I looked in the app was two days ago and everything was fine but when I logged in today there was everything wrong with it. I tried to fix it but i only made it worse. Please help me as fast you can because I spend so much time to write this story and I really dont want to lose it. I hope there is another way exept to delete the story. The story mean so much to me!

Bonjour, je n'arrive pas à me connecter à mon compte wattpad alors que c'est le bon mot de passe et nom d'utilisateur. A chaque fois vous nous dites de renouveler le mot de passe avec notre adresse email; j'ai essayé avec 5 email différents et je n'ai jamais reçu de message. C'est très décevant et j'en ai marre merci de me redonner mon compte et arrêter de mentir sur ce que vous envoyez aux gens; en espérant que ce ne soit qu'un bug.

J'ai vu que vous aviez retiré mes histoires intitulées : “Soumis à une amie” et “Soumis malgré moi”. Je me rends compte que je n'avais jamais coché la case "contenu pour adulte". Cela fait-il partie des raisons pour lesquelles vous avez supprimé mes histoires ? Si c'est le cas, je veux bien cocher cette case et s'il faut retirer des scènes je serai prêt à le faire.
Merci de prendre en compte mon message et si possible de remettre mon histoire sur Wattpad afin que je change cela.
J'aimerais par ailleurs connaître les raisons exactes pour lesquelles vous avez retiré mon histoire.

Mon compte Invalidee_chronikeus, a était bloquée et je ne peux pas changer le mot de passe car le gmail est sur mon autre téléphone qui es cassé, et je ne connais plus le mot de passe.
