1. The Official Android app for Volumio.
2. Automatically opens the UI without the need to enter IP address.
1. Take Kodi with Yatse as example, that works very well.App loses connection to the device whenever it loses focus (screen lock, switching to a different app, etc.) and does not support the built in android controls such as the back button.
2. Using a Shortcut to the web UI gives the same functionality, with more stability for free! It would be great if the app could utilise the ability to cast from the phone to Volumio, something I've to do through BubbleUPnP at the moment.Sometimes connection to RPI is lost.
3. When launching it if my volumio device is not responding we just get a white page.
4. After rebooting the device, the page from this app comes up, yet you can't adjust it in this app either. When I move the player device to a new location, I have no chance to connect to it.
5. The volumio device won't adjust the volume via the webui.
6. Once connected it works fine, but after turning off the phone, it seems to disconnect from Volumio.
7. Two small pain points are that it ask you to select a device everytime even if you use only one, secondly the volume buttons do not control the volume while in app.
8. To make things worse, it now can't connect to the device at all (from several phones) while the web ui works.
9. I prefer Volumio above Kodi due to Spotify integration; it works well.
10. Also, can you map the android back "key" to the back arrow in the app?Works quite well, more responsive and smooth than the web client, happy that I don't have to use it on mobile.
11. The new UI looks good, but a few things could be better: Please make some kind of consistent navigation bar in the UI with links to each page.
