Takeout Central Customer Insights

1. Fast delivery and also nice to be able to call a local customer service person if I ever need anything for my order!Only use takeout central as a last resort for delivery and am reminded of why every single time! They either show up late, mess up the order or cancel your order with short notice.

2. The service from takeout central is very good however I am unable to get push notifications for order status and coupon codes on my current phone.

3. I'm not sure why the app sends me multiple push notifications when one would suffice (seriously, 6 in the span of 15 minutes for the same coupon code?)... otherwise, good job!App is almost useless...I gave it 2 stars simply because it is possible to place an order through the app.

4. I also like that I'm supporting a "local" business and not a national biggie.I'v been ordering from Take Out Central for yrs, and I find that Takeout Central has a variety of restaurants to choose from that you can't find through competitor apps.

5. There is no way to change your settings (address, delivery instructions, payment options) until you place an order.

6. The app does provide helpful notifications (e.g. order received, driver on the way, etc.) but when clicked simply open the app with no new information.

7. If ever I've given fewer than 5 stars on an order, it's been an issue with the restaurant and not the delivery hero.

8. On occasion, if a restaurant makes an error, Takeout Central is quick to give the customer a generous discount, even though it wasn't their fault.

9. What I HATE is the push notifications! I will let you know when I want to order something.

10. Other delivery apps provide better settings control and information (e.g. order/delivery tracking).Poor user interface.

11. It asks for the CVV every time, which is great, except it does not trigger the keyboard to pop up in order to enter the CVV info.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Takeout Central Issues

1. Fix Takeout Central Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Takeout Central: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Takeout Central App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Takeout Central" » Open Takeout Central » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Takeout Central » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Takeout Central app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Takeout Central servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Takeout Central" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Takeout Central app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Takeout Central might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Takeout Central. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Takeout Central then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Takeout Central not working


2. Fix Takeout Central Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Takeout Central be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Takeout Central not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Takeout Central may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
