1. I've been trying to top up my card via the app (as I've done in the past before twice), but this time despite restarting my phone, reconnecting the Internet, turning off and on the app repeatedly, I am still unable to top up using the simplygo app.

2. It's such a frustrating experience and waste of time, much better to just top up at mrt stations... there are many problems with the app but not enough character limits to list down all the problemsAfter your late Jun 2023 update, my active card went missing in the app.

3. App is laggy as hell, details of my card take forever to show up on the home page - too many times it is faster to check my balance at a physical machine at the station than using the app.

4. Topping up my card through the app is also an unreliable process, as it often fails to load properly, or else it lags until multiple repeat transactions have been made.

5. Card also locks and glitches if you fall below $5 - which again, can't track easily since it doesn't show the balance.

6. I keep loading still .... can't sre my card balance !!!! its freaking lagging ! have update this apps twice .

7. Tried to revert back to normal card and I have to forfeit the card deposit! Here's what we get for being front users of this app.It's a really buggy app with very long loading time.

8. Ive been trying to topup my card for the last 15minutes and unable to.

9. Since last weekend, the app doesn't seem to load the trip details for my card.

10. The app also doesn't inform me ahead of time when my card value is insufficient for travelling on public transport.

11. So what is the purpose of this app actually?Unable to load my card after multiple attempts.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SimplyGo Issues

1. Fix SimplyGo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SimplyGo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SimplyGo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SimplyGo" » Open SimplyGo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SimplyGo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SimplyGo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SimplyGo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SimplyGo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SimplyGo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SimplyGo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SimplyGo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SimplyGo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SimplyGo not working


2. Fix SimplyGo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SimplyGo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SimplyGo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SimplyGo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I want to delete the account with phone 89427069 registered. I'm the owner of this phone number but it must be second-hand. I logged into the SimplyGo account with "Forgot password" function and find some information of its previous owner: name WU SHILIN, email 76743044@redacted. I'd like to delete this account and register another one instead of continue using it to avoid any potential problems.

    After I removed my e-link card from simplygo app and uninstalled simplygo app,
    but my e-link card still in simplygo status, when I tap in/out from bus.
    Please help me to unsubscribe my e-link card.
    My e-link card number is : 1000 1900 0086 0005
