The completely optional $2.99 upgrade is very nice -- a good way to thank the developer -- and it gives several nice features including highlighting text, syncing between devices, and skipping ahead if you're eager! The selection of books is excellent, all the classic favorites and some obscure titles I'm excited to read.Great selection of classic literature! The serialized format took some getting used to, although it works really well for mobile devices.

2. Love it! One major feature I suggest adding: options to sort your Read Later list by author or title or genre, because my list is huge!Really frustrated by the syncing errors which make it hard to track my reading.

Simply the best for anyone who enjoys reading!Very cool concept, but the app is very buggy: some pages don't load properly and require closing and reopening a few times to work.

5. I really like the serial format, which gives small daily doses and if you really get into a particular story, you can read ahead whenever you feel like it.I love this app! I have used it mostly to get through classics and other books that are intimidating to start.

8. It appears that there's a bug that makes it impossible to add anything from my Read Later list to current subscriptions, and there's no way to remove things from Read Later.

1. Fix Serial Reader Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Serial Reader: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Serial Reader App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Serial Reader" » Open Serial Reader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Serial Reader » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Serial Reader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Serial Reader servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Serial Reader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Serial Reader app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Serial Reader might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Serial Reader. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Serial Reader then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Serial Reader not working

2. Fix Serial Reader Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Serial Reader be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Serial Reader not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Serial Reader may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
