CITY CYCLING Customer Insights

1. Go for more interaction instead of stats.The tracking part works just fine, but for some reason team and community rankings don't load in my app.

2. Next day the same section says I have logged no kilometers, yet in my team score board my kilometer total is there.

3. sorry to say but this is pretty much useless.Great app to help improve our cycling infrastructure🚴 ♂️ Easy to use and fun to participate in a team.No route planning.

4. Edit 15.05.2023: just installed the latest update and it still doesn't work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CITY CYCLING Issues

1. Fix CITY CYCLING Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CITY CYCLING: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CITY CYCLING App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CITY CYCLING" » Open CITY CYCLING » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CITY CYCLING » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CITY CYCLING app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CITY CYCLING servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CITY CYCLING" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CITY CYCLING app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CITY CYCLING might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CITY CYCLING. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CITY CYCLING then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CITY CYCLING not working


2. Fix CITY CYCLING Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CITY CYCLING be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CITY CYCLING not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CITY CYCLING may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
