1. This is actually a pretty good app, and I can counter some common complaints in the bad reviews: It DOES go past the 9th fret.
2. You just have to literally type in the 2 digit number you want It CAN export to pdf.
3. Tap ≡ > "Save As" > ".tg" and there's a whole list of formats to export to.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TuxGuitar Issues
1. Fix TuxGuitar Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart TuxGuitar: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the TuxGuitar App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TuxGuitar" » Open TuxGuitar » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TuxGuitar » click "UPDATE".
- Clear TuxGuitar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TuxGuitar servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TuxGuitar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check TuxGuitar app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TuxGuitar might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall TuxGuitar. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TuxGuitar then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TuxGuitar not working
2. Fix TuxGuitar Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TuxGuitar be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TuxGuitar not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TuxGuitar may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
