Domestika Customer Insights

1. Some English subtitled courses could use some work (one Spanish language SVG/animation course had unnecessarily confusing interpretations in a fairly complex subject).

2. fix this problem and make all translations in all languages to all courses and I would change my rating to 5 out of 5 sorry but it's the truthThe app works really well, you can download tutorials if you want to watch them while travelling.

3. the only bad mistake you make when buying a course is if it's in a different language and you have to read every step, there is only very limited courses with audio translation.

4. That said, meant of these courses are really wonderful and the content and presenters are great.Ok.. I absolutely LOVE the instructors and thee courses are amazing and so diverse and really there is something for anyone.

5. Uninstalled app.At first I loved this platform - but I've discovered that even when courses are subtitled (which I'm fine with), the additional files which are sometimes many, many pages are not converted into English.

6. I have purchased the membership which gives me free courses and a credit a month to buy a course that would normally cost a bomb.

7. Despite any language barriers, the courses are accessible with captions and translations that make it easy to feel as though you are participating with other users in a coherent way.

8. You can download them, with forethought, one video at a time.I find these nice refreshing courses.

9. The one thing that bothers me is that (like a couple of other apps like this) you pay a (for me) big yearly chunk of money to use the app and then when you think you're in and ready to go, the courses each cost between around $10 to $20.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Domestika Issues

1. Fix Domestika Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Domestika: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Domestika App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Domestika" » Open Domestika - Online courses » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Domestika » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Domestika - Online courses app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Domestika servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Domestika - Online courses" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Domestika app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Domestika might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Domestika. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Domestika then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Domestika not working


2. Fix Domestika Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Domestika be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Domestika not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Domestika may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    I would like to find out how I can cancel egsisting subscription which I pressed accidentally whitout releasing . Two days ago I received an email saying that I'm now Domestic plus member and that I will be charged £83.15
