1. I recently installed this app on Galaxy S8 and it does not show the navigation icon? Can someone help me to understand why apple version has the navigation icon and my android version does not? ThanksHotels not associated with DNT ended up showing on the map as staffed losges and we ended up going to them to pick up a key and finding out there is no association with DNT whatsoever.

2. It would also be useful if I could download routes as GPX from the app.Doesn't allow me to log in after making an account, tried both with gmail and hotmail.

4. So you need Internet all the time, which is really annoying in the mountains.Needs an option to download the trip information for offline use.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix UT Issues

1. Fix UT Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart UT: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the UT App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UT" » Open UT - hele Norges turplanlegger » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UT » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear UT - hele Norges turplanlegger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UT servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UT - hele Norges turplanlegger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check UT app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, UT might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall UT. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall UT then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing UT not working


2. Fix UT Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make UT be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to UT not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, UT may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
