ﺷﺎﻫﺪ Customer Insights

1. And I am still getting charged $16 for monthly subscription... They are double charging me !!! I have Screenshots for proof.I used to watch free series on shahid, but suddenly this option is not available and also the log in option is not detected as well.

2. I sent an email regarding this matter, yet the subscription has been renewed, and I was charged for a new month, although I requested to cancel it before the renewal date.

3. It only runs on Android "TV" version and smart TVs.$89.00 for a yearly subscription which ends June 2024 has come out of my account.

4. They exemplify denialism, so they don't deserve the ongoing subscription which went on for years.Horrible horrible service.

5. In addition to that, both the phone app and smart TV app are awful.I am struggling to cancel the subscription.

6. I received emails inquiring about the reason and requesting contact over the phone, yet no action has been taken regarding the unsubscription request.

7. TV shows and movies are heavily censored! You should stay away unless you're interested in their exclusives.I've accepted that the sports package is priced at an *additional* 700 aed a year, that's fine.

8. Customers have paid for your service knowing that the application works om their devices and it should remain that way.

9. I have been waiting almost 2 months now and another payment went through and still cannot access my app.I am facing the same issue some customers are facing.

10. I'm a paid subscriper but the app suddenly decides to show me ads and then I have to stop it, log out and login again to remind it that I'm a subscriper and it continues without ads for sometime then it forgets and the loop of displaying ads begins.

11. Shahid should have trained agentsThis app is always bugged every video at its ends auto pause and never work again and I have tried everything to fix it but no use.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ﺷﺎﻫﺪ Issues

1. Fix ﺷﺎﻫﺪ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ﺷﺎﻫﺪ: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ﺷﺎﻫﺪ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ﺷﺎﻫﺪ" » Open ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ﺷﺎﻫﺪ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ﺷﺎﻫﺪ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ﺷﺎﻫﺪ - Shahid" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ﺷﺎﻫﺪ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ﺷﺎﻫﺪ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ﺷﺎﻫﺪ. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ﺷﺎﻫﺪ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ﺷﺎﻫﺪ not working


2. Fix ﺷﺎﻫﺪ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ﺷﺎﻫﺪ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ﺷﺎﻫﺪ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ﺷﺎﻫﺪ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
