I want to love this app and have the best phone to do it on but I have the same experience with video not working, l had Windows phone with same problems with flash player so l went to android and got a phone made by android so it's not our fault it's on Jim's end other applications working ok .Great when it's working but lately when I tap on an article it goes to the BBC News app but giant and unusable.

2. Because, especially on Saturdays, I get frustrated by the endless list of sports headlines which I have to bypass in order to get to the "important" stuff!!I've been a 5 star happy user of this app for years and the app is usually great but now it's broken.

3. And only click to read the ones of interest to you.needs update to play media, but it's simplicity makes app so simple to understand and easy to read what interests you.All it does is link BBC stories.

4. UPDATE: Several months later and disappointingly it appears that development & support of this app has been abandoned...This is a truly well executed app used over many years with great satisfaction.

5. I uninstalled then reinstalled which cured the problem but only for a matter of days.The news is good I've had it for years.

6. However I have little, or no, interest in sport - especially football - so wish that each regional news section had a separate "Sport" section.

1. Restart UK & World News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the UK & World News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "UK & World News" » Open UK & World News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for UK & World News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear UK & World News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from UK & World News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "UK & World News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
