Why should I report an Issue with Debatekeeper – debate timer?

1. The one feature I think would make this app perfect would be having the ability to set a custom format, so that if you're using a format that isn't supported, or maybe you're using reduced timing for an unofficial debate you would still be able to have a good experience with the app.

2. Made a custom debate style for my format, it was easy, straight forward and quick.

3. Easy to use, has many features and can accommodate many debating formats.The biggest problem is the lack of inclusion of all debate forms.

4. I know it has a custom form, but for all you from the US NSDA this does not have the forms that are used: no PF, Policy, LD etc.

5. A more pleasant looking UI would also be a nice touch, but it's certainly not something important, unlike what I mentioned above.Great app!!!! This is exactly what I was looking for and used it with great success in class today.

1. Fix Debatekeeper Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Debatekeeper: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Debatekeeper App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Debatekeeper" » Open Debatekeeper – debate timer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Debatekeeper » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Debatekeeper – debate timer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Debatekeeper servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Debatekeeper – debate timer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Debatekeeper app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Debatekeeper might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Debatekeeper. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Debatekeeper then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Debatekeeper not working

2. Fix Debatekeeper Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Debatekeeper be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Debatekeeper not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Debatekeeper may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
