Why should I report an Issue with Grainstorm?

1. It would be really handy if there was a way to be able.e to view the waveform and scanning while adjusting parameters... unless the parameters have midi compatibility? Either way, very interesting and worth getting of your into granular synthesis and sound design, or just want to make weird and wonderful sounds!This is what I've been waiting for...being able to mangle samples on my phone while on the go, and then exporting the results as WAV files to put into my tracks in the studio.

2. A full blown studio for making experimental music, ambient, drone, sound art... I highly reccomend getting the upgrade to support the dev and get more features.

3. Although, I was messing about with an audio cable the 1st time.First attempts felt awesome but then glitches and strange app messages stays on the screen when the app is being switched off.

4. Several of its time seek controls (speed + grain position) lead to very metallic sounds, indicating DSP issues.

5. Defo enjoyable tho and single track can complement your DAW compositions.Great work! I only used it for 10 minutes and I could already work out what the controls were.

6. I'm anxious to plug it in and do some recording! I would love to have a version of this that I can pay for it that's a little bit more expansive with features (easy MIDI looping, a sequencer, etc.

7. I've been using the pro version for over 1 year and it has allowed me to make some serious tracks while travelling/not in the studio.

8. Most importantly, to be able to select external microphone (this would enable line in) and be able to isolate device sound.

9. No undo button is a very bad choice in my opinion the app is not easy to control and quite often single sync press makes everything totally different and impossible to get back.

10. The second time it kept going after the phone had switched off.

11. Don't expect anything that's going to be easily loopable but do you expect to have a great time making noise.

1. Fix Grainstorm Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Grainstorm: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Grainstorm App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Grainstorm" » Open Grainstorm » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Grainstorm » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Grainstorm app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Grainstorm servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Grainstorm" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Grainstorm app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Grainstorm might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Grainstorm. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Grainstorm then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Grainstorm not working

2. Fix Grainstorm Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Grainstorm be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Grainstorm not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Grainstorm may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
