MYDUTY Customer Insights

1. What's kinda annoying: the (popping up) advertisements, if there was ab option to buy an add free version i would buy it.I use this app everyday and I love it! It took a little bit of time and random button pressing to understand how to use the app, but once you get it, it's super useful! You need to be careful when adding duties as it doesn't continue to the next month and jumps back to the start of the month.

2. maybe there's an easier way to do it that I just haven't found yet? also, I don't like how when you're adding in shifts, at the end of the month instead of going onto the next day, which is the next month, it automatically jumps back to the beginning of the month and overrides old shifts if you don't notice.I really like this app, especially the feature where you can see the (synchronised) shifts of your family/friends (who also use this app).

3. love the members duty feature, makes planning after work drinks a lot easier.... hate the alarm, but too lazy to edit all my shifts.

4. A little annoying with ads, but I'm cheap and not willing to pay for it to be ad-free when adding in shifts, but it's a fair price to pay for a really good, useful app! Just wish there was an option to pay a one time fee for it to be ad-free as opposed to a monthly charge.

5. However doesn't allow me to access any of the premium version so think will be unsubscribing from premium version and find another more suitable app.Is not compatible with Google calendar, so, you can not see in your Google calendar about your shiftslove the app.

6. I'd recommend playing around with it first and then sitting down and showing the rest of your friend group how to use it.Customizable and visually easy to track shifts.

7. Otherwise a great appgreat concept, the UI is fine once you work it out but the alarm plays without permission (doesn't help that it is loud and you can't change the alarm sound)Whilst the app is ok.

9. My favourite feature is the alarms, but I would like to see some customisation with how it looks (The off/snooze functions are small and difficult for me to find in my disorientated early morning wake up).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MYDUTY Issues

1. Fix MYDUTY Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MYDUTY: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MYDUTY App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MYDUTY" » Open MYDUTY - Nurse Calendar&Alarm » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MYDUTY » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MYDUTY - Nurse Calendar&Alarm app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MYDUTY servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MYDUTY - Nurse Calendar&Alarm" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MYDUTY app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MYDUTY might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MYDUTY. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MYDUTY then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MYDUTY not working


2. Fix MYDUTY Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MYDUTY be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MYDUTY not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MYDUTY may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
