Why should I report an Issue with Soundstorm for Hue?

1. When you add, remove, or change lights, pull down the list to refresh. • Sleep Timer — Choose the state of your lights after the timer ends with the Sleep End State setting.

2. To edit a room or zone in the list, swipe the item to the left and tap the pencil icon.

3. To edit a user theme in the list, swipe the item to the left and tap the pencil icon.

4. Choose a group that you set up using the Philips Hue app, or create a new zone in the Soundstorm for Hue app.

5. You can reorder lights for the Color Flow mode.

6. Get your party started using your Philips Hue lights.

7. Watch your lights pulse and flash to your favorite songs.

8. You can reorder colors for the Color Loop mode.

9. Select one or more lights for your light show on the Lights tab.

10. Choose from one of the predefined themes or create your own on the Themes tab.

11. Each mode uses the colors in the selected theme.

1. I was able to install go through all the settings ( most of which are default on the hue app ) and try the music setting ( which in fact didn't matter if music was playing or not the lights changed ) and the strobe isnt all at once it's each light in sequence .

2. Reaction time is terrible, themes do not match up to music not sure why I thought this would be the real time light show that it was advertised as and why I paid for it Edit: not seeking a refund.

3. The lights change rhythmically but not in time with the music, it seems like it a constant tempo.

4. I have many Hue bulbs and now once set to 'Rainbow' colour option and 'colour flow' my lights 'set up in a new group on the app' double as Xmas lights fading in and out with configurable brightness and delays and timers etc.

5. Keep it up! I also went and bought the thunderstorm and fire apps too!if I can give 1000 stars I will! love it! great app! works amazing! 5 bulbs so far.

6. I compared this to the Hue Disco app and the latter does vary the lights based on the temp.I took a year off and then came back.

7. whatever! it's great! as a feedback- maybe worth trying neural networks approach to remove voices, noise etc, for better experiences, but it will come, I belive).Didn't offer much.

9. The only way it could be better is if there was a live drum pad-style light-changer to where I could luminously DJ to music (different buttons for strobe, fade, etc).

1. Fix Soundstorm Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Soundstorm: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Soundstorm App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Soundstorm" » Open Soundstorm for Hue » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Soundstorm » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Soundstorm for Hue app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Soundstorm servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Soundstorm for Hue" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Soundstorm app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Soundstorm might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Soundstorm. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Soundstorm then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Soundstorm not working

2. Fix Soundstorm Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Soundstorm be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Soundstorm not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Soundstorm may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
