1. also it would be better to start the Android auto app viewing the favourited stations and not require navigating through the menuUsing the app here in the UK to listen to RTE Radio 1 primarily (which is an absolute breath of fresh air compared with the sheer banality of many UK stations!), but enjoying exploring the other stations on offer too.
2. Waste of time, don't bother with either.Had this app for a few years..was good but has become terrible in the last 6 months or so..ads..ads.. and more ads... interrupts music to play ads...a load of ads when you select a station before it plays the station... really disappointing... absolutely terrible... just about to delete it.... it's really annoying.. I'll get anotherI am very disappointed with the app as the one show I specifically downloaded the app for will not play, even though it is available and I can save the episodes.
3. The only short coming is that the Chromecast function doesn't work but this is easily gotten around using the Google Home apps' built-in cast function, Google Home>Settings>Cast screen/audio.This used to be a great app.
4. Works reliably for me, and the Google Auto integration is most useful.Using this app in USA to listen radio back home.
5. Some design tweaks would be good - to make it easier to find archive and podcast radio content on the stations' websites - requiring closer collaboration with the RTE web designers.
6. Same.. Using a different app for now.A very robust and reliable app which I use every day to listen to the Irish radio stations from within the UK.
7. Was using TuneIn radio switched to this but the app performance is not what I expected with frequent 2-5 second audio drop outs will continue using as I like the ease of use.
8. I see it plays live radio fine, but not good enough overall in my opinion. Please fix the bug where my phone switches to Android auto mode and the app was previously open.
9. Take a look at the Sounds app from the BBC - their excellent search facility , for example.Nags you about using the (very broken) replacement app every time you start it.
10. Having recently upgraded to Android Pie, the "Alarm Clock" function only works 50% of the time.
11. I've switched back to the apps from each radio station as a result. The app is continually playing ads.
