Hint Customer Insights

1. Wrote an email and a message via app (chat box), but never got any response.I have been trying to cancel since my free trial ran out in May even reached out to my "guidance counselor" but no reply, they just keep taking money out for free astrology readings you can get ANYWHERE.

2. Please do yourself a favor and do not download this app!!!!!! I STILL haven't figured out how to cancel and I've tried to click all of their "links" to the subscription self service portal and NONE of them work.

3. Of course the 24/7 customer service is just a revolving door to the email address just like the cancel subscription portal doesn't exist.

4. Don't waste your time.DO NOT USE THIS APP! IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY AND YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO CANCEL YOUR WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION OF $20!! They want to force money out of your by making it nearly impossible to cancel a subscription.

5. BUYER BEWARE Going to have to go through the hassle of contacting my bank and then not having a cc.Complete scam!! PAID for FREE trial for Palm reading But this has no palm reading.

6. Downloaded this app for 7 day trial, then tried to cancel this app, had the screenshot of confirmation, but they keep charging USD 19, for 3 times.

7. What a scam!new to this sight, but I have been exploring many different sights, trying to understand myself and where I should be heading, and this sight has been so much more detail oriented and personal than others.

8. The links to cancel subscription don't work.

9. I don't have any money and its took me over my od meaning I've incurred charges.Probably should have read other ratings before I purchased app.

10. I made contact and got a very unhelpful email back.. I've since noticed that I've had 2 further charges of $19 dollars out of my account.

11. Then won't let you cancel so they can drain your account.This app is completely different than advertised.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Hint Issues

1. Fix Hint Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Hint: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Hint App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hint" » Open Hint: Horoscope & Astrology » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hint » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Hint: Horoscope & Astrology app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hint servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hint: Horoscope & Astrology" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Hint app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hint might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Hint. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hint then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hint not working


2. Fix Hint Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hint be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hint not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hint may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I don't recall EVER giving credit card information for this app. I don't even believe in astrology and there are several large charges on my debit card which has caused me to bounce bill payments.   • I just sent you a letter. I’m just realizing I didn’t sign up to your account thank God I just signed up to this complaint site. If I fell for your scam of three day trial but I canceled after 20 minutes on the first day after I realized that you charge every month. Under my subscription settings in my iPhone it says it’s been expired since November 3 which is the day I started my first free trial. I don’t have a subscription with you guys but yet you’ve gone on to charge my account not only the subscription price every month but you’ve charged me some months 2.3 and 4 times! Right now I’m seeing that you charge me over $200 for a subscription that I do not have. I want someone to contact me ASAP regarding this matter. I feel very violated, and if I don’t hear back, I am going to get in contact with the Better Business Bureau, my aunt is a newscaster for channel 5 news I will get it all over the news and I will blow it up on my 500,000+ social media friends list.   • The only reason I created an account is to get in touch with you. I have never had a subscription with you ever. I signed up November 3 for a free trial and canceled seconds later. Under my subscriptions on my iPhone it says it’s been expired since November 3 since the first day. You’ve gone ahead and not only charge my account every month, but some months three times. You charge me twice in November 3 times in December 3 times in January twice in February and once already in March. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau if I don’t get a reply back today. This is absolutely ridiculous. I do not even have a subscription with you guys and the fact that you’ve been charging me at this point at least over $200 is absolutely ridiculous. My last payment went through to you guys last night but now I have a new card and I’m going to talk to my bank today about all of this fraud.   • I have tried many times to find you guys and I did request a cancellation twice but keep getting billed $19.00 a month one time it was twice I was billed in one month. This is not news to you guys I see it in the reviews. I didn't sign up for a monthly deal I got a reading that I paid for and that's it. I wasnt able to send all the transactions because this media will not hold it all but I did put down how many times I was double billed a month.


    On 8/9 and 8/23 I was billed the $19.00
    On 9/7 and 9/20 billed twice
    On 10/4 and 10/18 billed twice
    On 11/1, 11/15 and 11/29 billed $19 and then again already 12/13

    I am sending this to my bank and if you don't respond in any way to resolve this and return my money I am going to the Better Business Bureau as well.

  • I have now wasted 45 min of my life trying to cancel. I looked at apple pay like 24 hours after my new trial to cancel, and it was never there. Now I'm charged 19.00 and I want that refunded--I cant find ANY way to cancel this. I am very angry about this and actually feel like you are scamming me. I tried to cancel my free trial almost immediately and never found a way. When i try to message you through my brand new updated phone I just get a screen with a dot. It does nothing and I have no way to contact you. No email, no phone number. I want to cancel, and I would like a refund.

  • You guys charged a bank account with out any authorization. Legal actions against the company have been started. My attorney is looking for numbers that are currently in working standing and not disconnected. You need to refund my account because I did not sign up for this nor did I give permission for you to take money out of my account.
