Hint Customer Insights

1. Wrote an email and a message via app (chat box), but never got any response.I have been trying to cancel since my free trial ran out in May even reached out to my "guidance counselor" but no reply, they just keep taking money out for free astrology readings you can get ANYWHERE.

2. Please do yourself a favor and do not download this app!!!!!! I STILL haven't figured out how to cancel and I've tried to click all of their "links" to the subscription self service portal and NONE of them work.

3. Of course the 24/7 customer service is just a revolving door to the email address just like the cancel subscription portal doesn't exist.

4. Don't waste your time.DO NOT USE THIS APP! IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY AND YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO CANCEL YOUR WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION OF $20!! They want to force money out of your by making it nearly impossible to cancel a subscription.

5. BUYER BEWARE Going to have to go through the hassle of contacting my bank and then not having a cc.Complete scam!! PAID for FREE trial for Palm reading But this has no palm reading.

6. Downloaded this app for 7 day trial, then tried to cancel this app, had the screenshot of confirmation, but they keep charging USD 19, for 3 times.

7. What a scam!new to this sight, but I have been exploring many different sights, trying to understand myself and where I should be heading, and this sight has been so much more detail oriented and personal than others.

8. The links to cancel subscription don't work.

9. I don't have any money and its took me over my od meaning I've incurred charges.Probably should have read other ratings before I purchased app.

10. I made contact and got a very unhelpful email back.. I've since noticed that I've had 2 further charges of $19 dollars out of my account.

11. Then won't let you cancel so they can drain your account.This app is completely different than advertised.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Hint Issues

1. Fix Hint Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Hint: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Hint App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hint" » Open Hint: Horoscope & Astrology » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hint » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Hint: Horoscope & Astrology app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hint servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hint: Horoscope & Astrology" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Hint app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hint might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Hint. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hint then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hint not working


2. Fix Hint Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hint be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hint not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hint may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Cancel my subscription immediately. I have been charged 19.99 three times and I never signed up for a subscription. When I try to checky subscription status on your website it says I do not have an account. When I check the subscription in the Google app store there is no subscription to hint app. Cancel my subscription and refund my money.   • Hi I’ve been charged on my cash app 9.99 by your company I didn’t not agree to this what so ever!   • I would like to delete my account. I am making this request under the CCPA. I canceled my trial membership before the billing cycle began and was still charged well after. As per the CCPA regulations, a refusal to comply with this results in an a $7,500 fine. This is unethical and if you do not delete my information, there will be consequences for this.

  • Hi, I’m having troubles cancelling my subscription with the app called Hint:Horoscope & Astrology

    I downloaded the app and started the 7 day free trial which ended on 3rd September, I have been billed as didn’t cancel within 24 hours before the end of the trail. I want to cancel my subscription but it isn’t showing on my subscriptions on my iPhone and also tried through the App Store to which the app isn’t showing there either. I have read the reviews that people are putting on the customer service website for them and it’s shocking, sounds like one big scam! Im worried I will continue to be charged huge amounts if this isn’t resolved. And right on their website they state if you have issues we respect our customers and want them happy and if you need a refund click this help link portal but when you click it it doesn’t take you anywhere!
