1. I really hope this can be fixed because it would be a very useful app! Great idea and happy to see an app like it available, some improvements to be made though! Keep up the good work, Rome wasn't built in a day! :))REMOVE PICTURE FRAMES! Love the app and would give it 5 stars, but what's really annoying is the fact you can take a lovely photo of the garden or whatever but then have to choose which part of it you want to show when you upload it.

2. An option to select the kind of plant you have and then you receive a notification when they need to be watered, would be good for people like me who are very forgetful.This is an update from my last two reviews: I am now able to login using my "original email" and password.

3. Distressing situation but it was resolved.This is an updated review, 2 stars before due to glitches but since then the team behind Candide have (like good gardeners) pruned, nurtured and supported the fantastic app this is becoming.

4. The lag while scrolling, and the fact that you can't select multiple images at a time but rather have to continuously navigate back through all your folders and images to get back to where you were for every single image is tiresome.Had a few gardening Apps but the free ones are a bit pants.

5. Candide is easy to navigate and great for tips, identifying plants and mixing with people with similar interests.

6. Great app, keep it blooming!!Was great, and then started crashing every time I tried to use the Plant ID function.

7. I've tried to use the same "original" email on other occasions but the website kept rejecting it (the reason I had the problem in the first place).

8. The silly frames you have to fit the pictures in to 99% of the time are nowhere near big enough to show enough of the photograph! Sort it out please guys and the app would be perfect!!!Used to be one star from my previous attempt to use this App.

9. The main reason I love it, is that it is filled with like minded people, who love plants.

10. Why if I'm going to pay for this, that it won't allow my to open up a photo from a different file on my phone??? You developers need to do some proper investigating.

1. Fix Candide Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Candide: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Candide App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Candide" » Open Candide – For plant lovers » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Candide » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Candide – For plant lovers app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Candide servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Candide – For plant lovers" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Candide app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Candide might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Candide. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Candide then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Candide not working

2. Fix Candide Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Candide be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Candide not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Candide may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
