personalDNSfilter Customer Insights

1. This app is extremely efficient and can be considered a job well done, but still leaves much to be desired in the UI department.App is working only in other service providers like bsnl but if I try to use jio sim it is stop completing setup and filter update couldn't you elaborate the issue developers I rise this issue many times on my previous comments but no reply from you .Very nice.

2. I'm not familiar with how indexing works in this app, but can the running log tell "this domain was blocked by this filter"?Whenever I activate this app it disables my Norton 360 VPN; I have tried the advanced settings and nothing works do stop it.

3. For readers, my original review was about my YT history that stopped working when using the filter, but got fixed after whitelisting the domain.I like to open it from time to time, and see what else got blocked.

4. Overall, great and effective app! 😙👌EDIT: Thank you dev for responding to my review! I tried whitelisting and it worked, Though I'd still like the app to have that domain unfiltered by default since it's mostly used for YouTube search history more than ads as far as I know.

5. Can't browse the internet on my phone without this app anymore. There should be a sensible GUI selection of trustworthy DNS providers and filter lists.

6. Clearly blocked, but which filter is "to blame"? I had to reset the app to its defaults several times, because I couldn't figure out which filter I should disable for that particular site.

7. My only "issue" is that it doesn't start automatically if my phone reboots. This is a very good app, with flexible settings so you can tailor what gets blocked and what doesn't.

8. Can you configure this to stop disabling my Norton VPN? I have to use my Norton VPN for certain access locations and I am not going to spend money for another VPN, the Norton VPN is part of my Norton 360 Security package that I pay a yearly subscription for.Love this app.

9. I've got all of the available filter lists enabled for my non-rooted device with no issues.

10. I tried to block a few sites using the config additional hosts, but it didn't work.

11. Overall, this is a pretty decent way to filter out junk traffic on your phone.
