Why should I report an Issue with ScanMaster for ELM327 OBD-2?

I hope they can fix this because I do not want to buy a different dongle just to work with this appI assumed for the price I paid for a elm knockoff I'd be dissapoited then connected to this app, I was not dissappointed with the hardware and even with the basic version of this made it great but I quickly realized the developers need to eat and your asking price for a fully capable lifetime license was well within my means as well as everyone's.

2. The software keeps on initializing but it cannot succesfully read or do the command Follow-Up Review : I think the truck's wirings might be defective, maybe fuse becausw THE SOFTWARE WORKED on my other car.You can't clear/erase codes, it just saves them.

3. I know the adaptor isn't the issue because I can use it with Torque Pro and there are no other apps using the adaptor when I try to use ScanMaster.Tried this with an old ELM 327 that supports ODBII protocols on a 2012 Honda, and using BT connection.

4. Since the last update, you need to use the Dark Theme to view the control buttons, such as the ones used to select data pids.Does the basics better than competitors.

5. Some apps require money for a single faults reset, others require a full version of the app and they still wouldn't do what you'd like.

6. Don't waste your time with this app.Does not work with ELM 327 MINI OBD II Bluetooth adaptor.

7. This renders the app useless to me.Supreme pos junk!!! Does absolutely NOTHING!! don't waste your time or money you don't even " get what you pay for" with this plastic garbage.

8. I'm a Smog Tech and when I need to show a customer the state of their vehicle this app displays the codes and monitors with a lot of clarity.

9. The 3 dots mentioned in the reply from the developer don't appear on my device so I can't set the displayed variables, which I need to do to log o2 sensor voltages.

10. What's the purpose really? Claim to offer a service with a bad product?? Just lay blame it seems to be the wayThis was one of the best obd2 scanner apps that I've used.

1. Fix ScanMaster Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ScanMaster: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ScanMaster App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ScanMaster" » Open ScanMaster for ELM327 OBD-2 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ScanMaster » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ScanMaster for ELM327 OBD-2 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ScanMaster servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ScanMaster for ELM327 OBD-2" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ScanMaster app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ScanMaster might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ScanMaster. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ScanMaster then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ScanMaster not working

2. Fix ScanMaster Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ScanMaster be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ScanMaster not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ScanMaster may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
