ZIN Play Customer Insights

1. I am interested in knowing if these issues are mostly happening to android or apple users.I LOVE this app!! It gives me so many ways to optimize my playlists: trimming songs, slowing or speeding up songs, cross-fading, adding breaks, sound effects, rearranging the order of songs in existing playlists, swapping out/in of individual songs! It's SO easy to customize to make it just the way you want it!! Even having the graph of BPM and the exact time length is so helpful! And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new video Playlist option for practicing new songs!!!Need to be able to change the default when adding new songs.

2. I should be able to use some songs from my CD from when I started without paying extra...I have always paid every month...only teach 2 classes a week because of health limitations ( MS)...so financially cant afford more..but always use and love having app.I switched out of necessity to ZIN play a year ago ( no longer use a laptop).

3. I also have not had any problems using it while pairing through a Bluetooth speaker.At times I add a new song to my current playlist, ALL the songs are downloaded again and/or command is not recognized.

4. What is not useful is that I can't change up my playlist if I don't have Wi-Fi (and my gym is notorious for spotty wifi) even though all my songs are downloaded to my phone.

5. So that makes it hard to make any music changes or accommodate requests in the middle of class.Love this app! It shows a wave of intensity at the top of your playlist so you can map out the intensity pattern of your class.

6. Cant customize fade settings between songs (like 3 seconds for one and 5 for another, it automatically defaults to one length of time for all songs in playlist), 3.

7. It's just linked with the song, well for sure the "my first class songs." I haven't checked the others out yet.

8. I have trouble putting in some songs for my zumba gold class from my older collection.

9. I like that it tells me how long my playlist is so I can keep it to 60 minutes and I like that I can program breaks between songs.

10. Cant delete grayed out songs from playlists, 5.

11. Even after I download it for use on airplane mode, it switches my songs around.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ZIN Play Issues

1. Fix ZIN Play Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ZIN Play: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ZIN Play App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ZIN Play" » Open ZIN Play » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ZIN Play » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ZIN Play app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ZIN Play servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ZIN Play" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ZIN Play app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ZIN Play might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ZIN Play. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ZIN Play then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ZIN Play not working


2. Fix ZIN Play Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ZIN Play be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ZIN Play not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ZIN Play may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi! I have been using Zinplay for years with out any problems but just this past week a song called Bailando from Mega Mix 91 refuses to play!! I’m wondering if I can’t find this song somewhere else. My class loves it as much as I do! Please help 😬❤️
