1. The update allows me to swipe to hide listings in the list view....this is a useless feature that I would only care about if the IMPORTANT functions were working.

2. Listings also show the latest change as "updated" so that's misleading because that could have been a month ago.Installed because UX for hiding a listing is horrible on website.

3. But, compared to other apps (zillow) it's very annoying that you can't get a detailed map view of all of the listings in a search.

4. Some bugs have been fixed, but right now, I'm unable to log in to my profile (which I like to use because it gives me commute time from my place of work to potential apartment).

5. It's tiring searching for the same houses that i've viewed and saved over and over againIt works, and it seems like the listings are updated routinely.

6. Furthermore, it also doesn't list all the listings that should be found by my saved search.

7. However, it's broken in at least a couple of ways that led to me uninstalling it: it keeps sending notifications daily about random searches that I've made (but not enabled notifications for).

8. The search function is adequate, but it fails at the second most important function -- saving the listings.

9. I'd go check my saved searches to see either "updates" or "all caught up" but either I can't tell what actually changed.

10. That being said, it's good to be able to follow up on updates very quickly, and it is helpful in searches in general.

1. Fix StreetEasy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart StreetEasy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the StreetEasy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StreetEasy" » Open StreetEasy - Apartments in NYC » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StreetEasy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear StreetEasy - Apartments in NYC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StreetEasy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StreetEasy - Apartments in NYC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check StreetEasy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StreetEasy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall StreetEasy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StreetEasy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StreetEasy not working

2. Fix StreetEasy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StreetEasy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StreetEasy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StreetEasy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
