1. CheersYou use to be able to click on your profile and upload a user picture why isn't that available now? Now it says "an error has occurred please try again in a little while" & screen turns dark and says " sorry something went wrong" can you please fix this.I have a yammer account with my organization when I open in desktop and in teams also working.

2. Giving the app 5 stars once again.In storylines I cant upload photos or a file... it keeps saying something went wrong and that message is very immediate too... previously something went wrong message was usually used if busy or your data speed was slow in other groups.

3. Also if it doesn't upload a post (which 3 out of 5 times it doesn't seem to), it doesn't just save to draft or pull it back up for you to retry, IT JUST DELETES THE WHOLE POST!!! WORTHLESS!!! Go to teams or something else, I'm sure they're 'under new management' with their name change but horrible.I like the app.

4. So those of you who have interest, test It's bestness without hesitation.We all stopped using this now due to the ui being non-user friendly ans nothing in chronological order so it could be days or even weeks before see a post and then its too lateI used to use the app before they updated the sign in.

5. Notifications could really do with a major revamp too and too many folk don't have profile photo because you have to go through some Microsoft area online and go round the houses... please bring back within app photo profile updating.

6. I have to type out my wording in my phone's notes app then copy-paste it into Yammer.It's the best apps of Microsoft which looks like as familiar to do without boring and live long life with it.

7. Horrible service!! Unnecessary amount of notifications, and you can't turn off curtain notifications without turning off a whole part of it, so you have to continue to get unnecessary notifications.

8. I also found that the app causes my keyboard to go between lower and capital cases when I'm trying to type responses or post a topic.

9. I had some issues with the content and organizations loading, but then was able to correct the issue via help from the developer- i had to Uninstall and the reinstall the app, and resign in, but it worked.

10. I have a hard time searching and tagging people in my posts even when I search by their first and last name or last and first name.

11. I still enjoy the app, it helps me stay connected.I have been using the app for almost 3 years now for work, and have had very few problems.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Viva Engage Issues

1. Fix Viva Engage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Viva Engage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Viva Engage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Viva Engage" » Open Viva Engage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Viva Engage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Viva Engage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Viva Engage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Viva Engage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Viva Engage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Viva Engage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Viva Engage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Viva Engage then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Viva Engage not working


2. Fix Viva Engage Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Viva Engage be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Viva Engage not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Viva Engage may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
