1. Devices are not patched with the new firmware and now pose a security risk to my network amd I can't manage them now! Someone from Winix, please contact me!Decent app for controlling WiFi enabled purifiers, needs fewer ads for filter replacements (that I won't need for another 6 months, according to the app itself).

2. I upgraded from a C535 in hopes of getting some use out of scheduling and smart home control functionality, but the upgraded "smart" model requires more manual control! I miss the reliable auto mode.Good controls, bad reports.

3. The actual purifier itself is amazing, people seem to have trouble with the app so I'm not sure if I just got lucky or they fixed some of the problems, but it works perfectly fine for me and is a nice way to track both the air quality in my city and room.This is an extremely frustrating app.

5. But when it disconnects after a few weeks, its pointless to try to reconnect.This product works well in my home as evidenced by inspection of the filter; the washable one is nice.

6. As well, that the Air Quality indicator lights turn off when the room is dark is very good for night time!Update: since the last update to the app, have had no trouble.

7. The app works well when it's connected but when an auto update came through, my app stopped working; a heads up would have been nice as it took a while to figure out why it wouldn't work after the update.

8. Suggestions for improvement would be the addition of a UV light within the unit and to have the app record and keep track of the exact date of filter replacement.If I could give zero stars I would... I'll say this: the filter is excellent.

9. I have spent HOURS trying to get the app to connect to my wifi, and TRUST ME my wifi connectivity is not the problem! It is the app! I got the wifi to connect one time and have never been able to connect it again.

10. It sometimes will connect to a filter, but it forgets the connection within a few weeks, then may or may not connect to that filter again.

11. This app is amazingly useful, and the air purifiers are such a good buy! Being able to monitor the air quality outside as well as in, as well as schedule times to turn on and off (even when I'm out of the house) is quite useful.

1. Fix Winix Smart Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Winix Smart: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Winix Smart App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Winix Smart" » Open Winix Smart » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Winix Smart » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Winix Smart app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Winix Smart servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Winix Smart" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Winix Smart app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Winix Smart might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Winix Smart. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Winix Smart then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Winix Smart not working

2. Fix Winix Smart Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Winix Smart be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Winix Smart not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Winix Smart may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
