AudioCast S Customer Insights

1. to choose another music source u have to go back play page then a different back arrow in a different location leads to music sources.

2. Please fix itWhy not just use a Bluetooth receiver?? Was given one of these streaming units...I have to confess I don't know the practical use of it, app has a very small number of approved sources that you can stream audio from... you can't stream audio from your browser or YouTube or Amazon or Google or Audible or almost anything you'd ever want to use... oh well...App was awesome.

3. They say you can play music from NAS, but there in no option to connect any type of external music source (appart from predefined).

4. Also; it would have been nice to be able to sort favorite music alphabetically by artist, chronologically and reversed chronologically wrt time added.

5. I did not use it for several months and now, in my new home in Finland, I can only get one station to play, it does not react to any touches, and Spotify does not work at all anymore.

6. Cannot cast or control music from any app other than Spotify.

7. I would say that it is garbage, but some garbage can be useful - this cannot ever attain utility...five (5) attempts across two devices to get the app to sync with the device - the result: FAIL.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AudioCast S Issues

1. Fix AudioCast S Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AudioCast S: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AudioCast S App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AudioCast S" » Open AudioCast S » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AudioCast S » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AudioCast S app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AudioCast S servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AudioCast S" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AudioCast S app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AudioCast S might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AudioCast S. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AudioCast S then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AudioCast S not working


2. Fix AudioCast S Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AudioCast S be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AudioCast S not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AudioCast S may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
