2. Pressing "add more" will sometimes discard videos as well.This app is so frustrating as a student trying to upload my videos it keeps telling me that there is an error I keep doing it over and over and over again and it's just so frustrating.
3. This is one of the many bad qualities of this app, I will hqve to post another review because i have no more space, make sure to read it.This app takes forever to upload videos and sometimes it doesn't even upload them.
4. Also, on computer I cannot leave a video response on another student's post at all, it just goes to an infinite loading screen.
5. Recording videos is fine, but uploading them from the phone doesn't work.
6. Scrolling through the list of videos can sometimes play more than one video at once.
7. The students and I can't upload videos on the app without there being formatting issues.
8. Your best bet is using the computer for flip since it's obviously not optimized for mobile use.This app is so buggy, I can't believe they chose it for students to use at schools this year! We often lose entire clips while editing and have to start over.
9. If there is an option to change this, please let me know, but as of yet, the app is inefficiently designed and not ergonomic in the slightest.I literally cannot make a simple video on this app.
10. Adding text or pictures at the selfie photo of a video can occasionally send you back to the home of Flipgrid and worst case, discarding your entire video.
11. Absolutely wild that the mirror camera option is only available on iOS, not to mention a major accessibility issue for education.This capability is required for a class that I am taking this summer.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Flip Makes Learning Engaging Issues
1. Fix Flip Makes Learning Engaging Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Flip Makes Learning Engaging: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Flip Makes Learning Engaging App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Flip Makes Learning Engaging" » Open Flip Makes Learning Engaging » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Flip Makes Learning Engaging » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Flip Makes Learning Engaging app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Flip Makes Learning Engaging servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Flip Makes Learning Engaging" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Flip Makes Learning Engaging app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Flip Makes Learning Engaging might not work.

I have a student that is trying to do her Flipgrid and she gets this error message.
Have no fear! You can still import a video. Camera/mic not found.
We tried it on two different computers and received the same error message. We switched browsers and the same thing happened. Can you please help us fix this. This is the students email.

I work for a school and we recently downloaded the FLIPGRID APP version 10.1.3(5065). When the students tried to access the "JOIN CODE" the message was "something went wrong" The students are using USERNAME with Password But they don't get that far because the message comes up when they input the JOIN CODE and push next (right arrow).

Since FlipGrid app was updated (10.1.1) last week, students that updated the app are not able to work with Flipgrid. They receive the message "Something went wrong" There was a problem accessing this resource. If they login using an iPad with a FlipGrid older version (9. 4.6)they can work without problem.

I am trying to set up a Flipgrid account that connects to Canvas. I don't know what happened, but when I try to access Flipgrid on Canvas, it goes to a window that says "Connect Flipgrid to Canvas." When I try to create a group, there's a little red circle/slash symbol that comes up, and the application freezes.
So, I'm thinking of having my students submit their assignment recordings on Flipgrid by using the join code. Is using the join code all they need to do in order to complete the assignment, or do they need to have their own Flipgrid account? My flipgrid account under my work email, hnmyers@redacted is having issues, or students are having issues with it. Caroline and Aaron specifically are not having the flipgrids puling up for their weekly video questions. Can you help me fix this for them? Good morning,
Over the past few weeks, an increasing number of my students are now unable to even log in to Flip Grid using their school accounts. They all receive an error message asking them to contact an administrator. I don't immediately see anything on my end that I can do to help them. Do you know what the issue might be, and how might it be solved? We've been using Flip Grid for over a year now and have never had an issue like this.

Hello! Currently, you're 10min is the longest video a student can submit. Is there anyway you could change this to allow a 20min video students can submit? Because not all my students are leaving a video. I don't know who all has viewed my work for this topic. I have to take attendance and with this I have no idea who logged on to view the Flipgrid. I can see the list of students names on my homepage but it doesn't give me the specific things I need.

I have been using Flipgrid for years, but this year my students are having trouble logging in. They normally can log in through Google. They are getting an error message, "Your email or email domain @wsdoc.me is not allowed to join. Contact your educator." Is there something I need to change in settings? I have a student who cannot record. He says, I'm trying to create my log in for flipgrid and for some reason I'm getting an error message that says my email account is not allowed to join. I'm a little puzzled since my login credentials are correct and it will not let me create my account.I updated my computer and used two different browsers. When I try posting directly on flipgrid it's stuck on the loading screen. I made sure that my computer allows flipgrid to use my camera and microphone. What should I tell him?
