ShotSaver Customer Insights

1. The media never upload to gallery section... *****Update to all**** According to Google guidelines they no longer move the recorded and captured media to internal storage so please make sure to move the media else where and delete the app ... the app is no more usefulWorked great until the update now the snaps are no longer saving to the default location and I can't see in the menu where to change it or where they are being saved to.

2. Would very much appreciate it if it would at the least provide the option to be able to save to your phone's gallery instead.Where does it save the videos and screenshots on my phone? Nothing appears in my gallery and I've searched all over and just can't find them.

3. However, when recording video it catptures audio from the phone's mic and doesn't record the sound from the speakers which is incredibly annoying.

4. Please add an option in the app settings so that we can tell it what folder to save everything.The saved videos and pictures can not be found only when you open the app and go to gallery inside the app.

5. The option to bring up the screenshot and screen record, doesn't work.

6. It took a picture of black screen with the notice "Security policies restrict screen captures"It was doing amazingly until it would no longer save to internal devices.

7. I'm only able to see them in the app galleryApp is useless (at least on newer androids) I went into app that always says can't take screen shots due to policy.

8. It does have a smooth interface, but when it comes to actually delivering, this ain't it chief.It records whatever is on your screen at anytime whenever you like and as long as you like.

9. Please Fix! It had been broke for a while!Somehow it still activates the little screenshot notification so other people can see I took a screenshot except for me.

10. Sound recording isn't good, picks up on small sounds.

11. However, the saved destination is in its own provided gallery.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ShotSaver Issues

1. Fix ShotSaver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ShotSaver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ShotSaver App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ShotSaver" » Open ShotSaver » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ShotSaver » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ShotSaver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ShotSaver servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ShotSaver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ShotSaver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ShotSaver might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ShotSaver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ShotSaver then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ShotSaver not working


2. Fix ShotSaver Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ShotSaver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ShotSaver not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ShotSaver may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
