It does show your progress of the 'new' episode so when something sounds familiar you can confirm that you have listened to it before but that's not particularly useful.The Best of the Best Yes, you’ve probably never heard of this player, and it may not be the biggest in the market, but after testing around 20 podcast players, this was the only one which met all my selection criteria - and the criteria aren’t that stringent! 2. My big issue is when you sort the downloaded episodes it doesn't play them in the order you want??? Then it'll play an episode that I deleted by streaming it? When you delete an episode out should be marked listened and be removed immediately.

3. Love it ♥️I have been very happy with Playapod for a long time, but it drives me crazy that you haven't added manual sort to the "new" or "downloads" playlists, it bums me out to have to have to take my phone out after every podcast, to hear the one I want next.

I think they problem is that they don't have a download queue that makes the items wait until the first one in the queue is done downloading, so instead, if you want to download 5 items then they all download simultaneously, so 5 hours later you have 5 half episodes and then suddenly you have 5 failed downloads.

5. Makes no sense to have to scroll all the way back up to the most recent Episode instead of having a button to do so, nor that from a screen with the currently played episode goes back to the "Playlist" screen and only after that again to the "podcast" one.

6. No reason for it to jump from played eposide to Playlist instead of directly to "downloads" really annoying that if you're listening to an old episode, the feed can't quickly jump to the latest chronological episode.

7. I've lost count of the times that I've had to mark the same podcast as listened to on my phone and then had to do the same on my other device multiple times for the same episodes.

8. I was hopeful but at this point it's a waste of time so I'm going back to Podcast Addict and one device only until someone steps into this niche in a meaningful way.Simple to use and light.

9. PROS: NO ads! Cross platform synching, user friendly, create playlists & save fave episodes.

10. NOR that the "new" episodes start with the most recently played one, since that can be an episode from years ago.

1. Fix Playapod Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Playapod: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Playapod App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Playapod" » Open Playapod » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Playapod » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Playapod app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Playapod servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Playapod" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Playapod app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Playapod might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Playapod. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Playapod then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Playapod not working

2. Fix Playapod Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Playapod be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Playapod not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Playapod may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
