SubSidekick Customer Insights

1. Pretty disappointed because I loved the convenience...I like how it adds the sub work to my Google calendar and pulls up Google maps when I click the job in the morning, making it less stressful to figure out where I'm going.My problem is that positions in my district are filled so rapidly that I hardly ever have time to read the job description before accepting! It's not the app's fault, but it may be annoying at times!A quick and easy way to arrange sub work.

2. I have to wholeheartedly suggest the service and the support personnel since the techs were so pleasant and knowledgeable in investigating any difficulties and delivering prompt fixes.Simple to set up, manage, and adjust as required; even for a baby boomer! If immediate, personal assistance is required, it is available.The app's very helpful.

3. You can screen the jobs based on the duration, school, district, job title, etc.., so the filter makes it much more easier to use the app.it keeps saying network error when i try to create an account.

4. You receive many alerts throughout the day and you can choose according to your district and preference.Furious!!!! I open the app and it kept excepting jobs! I had to call 3 times to cancel jobs in less than 5 minutes.

5. I somehow still got the email though and even still i try logging in or creating an account through the app or by a seperate device, windows laptop, and still cannot create an account.The app was quite dependable.

6. Noticed similar apps had captured more job details, which allows the user to make an informed decision.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SubSidekick Issues

1. Fix SubSidekick Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SubSidekick: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SubSidekick App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SubSidekick" » Open SubSidekick - Frontline Aesop » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SubSidekick » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SubSidekick - Frontline Aesop app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SubSidekick servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SubSidekick - Frontline Aesop" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SubSidekick app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SubSidekick might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SubSidekick. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SubSidekick then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SubSidekick not working


2. Fix SubSidekick Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SubSidekick be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SubSidekick not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SubSidekick may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
