Study.com Customer Insights

1. To top it off, I can download videos to watch on the go when I'm in an area without wifi and/or poor cell signal.Very convenient, easy to use, but very frustrating!!! I'm allowed to retake it 2x, total taken is 3.

2. A couple things I would change, on the mobile app I couldn't find an option to change the video playback speed.

3. I keep having to reselect the audio clips after I leave the app, sometimes the audio stops for an unknown reason and the widget that appears on my home page and lock screens don't work.

4. Especially if I am paying 59.99 a month.At least for my class, the learning platform is very one dimensional, consisting of a video lesson and a quiz.

5. However, I would like a a note taking option as I am watching the video to help me retain the information.

6. But on my second time taking it, it doesn't give me the highest score I earned, it only shows my first score.

7. It requires me to remember every time which topic and chapter exactly and then I end up listening to the same lesson over.Overall it has been good.

8. I have found some grammatical errors in some lessons and on some chapter and final exams.

9. Also, I must say I was pretty pissed off when I found out that to take a test for credit on a completed course the subscription which is already quite expensive especially for me as a student has to be upgraded again.

10. When I had a question the help I received was very poor: the response did not accurately relate to my question, and now my question status is listed as rejected.

11. currently trying to fix with ITExcellent app! Awesome way to access your course studies on the go! Literally just did a Quiz on my phone! Update: The app sucks.

1. Fix Study.com Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Study.com: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Study.com" » Open Study.com - Online Courses » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Study.com » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Study.com - Online Courses app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Study.com servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Study.com - Online Courses" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Study.com app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Study.com might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Study.com. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Study.com then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Study.com not working


2. Fix Study.com Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Study.com be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Study.com not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Study.com may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
